RustIvy respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users, partners, and contributors to do the same. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have adopted the following policy to address copyright infringement claims.

General Policy

We reserve the right to:

  1. Remove or block access to material that we have a good-faith belief is infringing copyrighted works; and

  2. Suspend or terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Use of RustIvy’s services is subject to our Terms of Service, which incorporates this Copyright Policy.

1. Filing a Copyright Infringement Notice

If you believe that material on or through RustIvy’s services infringes your copyright (or that of someone you are authorized to represent), please send a written notice to our Designated Agent containing the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.

  • Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed.

  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material, with sufficient detail for us to locate it (e.g., URL, screenshot).

  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law.

  • Your contact information, including full name, address, phone number, and email.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. Actions We May Take

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, RustIvy may:

  • Remove or disable access to the identified content;

  • Notify the user who posted the material;

  • Apply sanctions against repeat violators, including termination of access.

3. Submitting a Counter-Notice

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a Counter-Notice to our Designated Agent including:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

  • Identification of the material removed and its original location before removal.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was due to error or misidentification.

  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email.

  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or if outside the U.S., for any district where RustIvy is located) and accepting service of process from the complainant.

4. Restoration of Material

If a valid Counter-Notice is received, RustIvy may forward it to the original complainant. Unless the complainant files legal action seeking a court order, the removed content may be reinstated within 10–14 business days at our discretion.
